Tiger has been educating blossoming artists for over 15 years, specializing in multiple dance disciplines, acting through song, vocal performance, and audition technique. She has cultivated a variety of classes and syllabi that are unique, and embrace the ever-changing theater marketplace. Tiger loves to keep her class sizes intimate in order to give personalized feedback to each student every time they meet. To her, nothing is a greater joy than watching her students succeed. She is currently on faculty at AMDA in New York City.
Classes
Tiger is well versed in teaching all levels and ages (5 yrs old - Professional). She specializes in ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, musical theater, and jazz funk. She holds a BFA from NYU Tisch in Drama, and has trained at some of the best professional studios in the biz. You can catch her in NYC teaching privately, or schedule a time for her to come out to your studio for a master class. She offers a wide variety of classes that can be easily catered to any skill set or age group.
Class Types: Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Musical Theater, Modern (Horton based), Contemporary, Tap (Beg-Int), Hip Hop/Jazz Funk (Beg-Int).
Dig In, Dive Deep, Full Out: This series explores multiple musical theater styles and techniques from the Golden Ages through present day. Each class begins with a round table discussion based on a topic given prior to each class, followed by a new dance combination to explore the movement and style of the period. This series can be conducted in as little as four sessions, or as vast as 15. It can also be combined with Tiger Tech or private instruction.
Tiger Tech: This class specializes in cultivating positive self-awareness, confidence, and sound techniques to succeed in any audition room (or zoom!). We will focus on how to present the best possible YOU by training in various dance techniques and styles, while learning invaluable tips on how to retain choreography, and making it your own while under pressure. Each master class will consist of an exploration of new choreography, a mock audition for the show in question, and a check-in/feedback session to debrief, ask questions, and set goals to move forward on your professional journey.
Master Classes: Tiger specializes in ballet, lyrical, contemporary, jazz funk, and musical theater. Classes are catered to the dancers’ needs and abilities. These classes are able to be taught in person or via Zoom. Pricing upon request.
One on One Private Training: Based on your personal goals, Tiger will create a lesson plan specifically for you. Whether you are wanting to work on technique, picking up choreography, or creating an audition game plan she is absolutely your girl!
College Audition Coaching and Pre-Screen Creation: We will curate your entire college package from beginning to end, making sure you present your best self on film and in the room for every school you apply to.
