Fall/Winter 2023-24: Academic Adventures by Tiger Brown

This fall and winter has been super eventful. Tiger started teaching at Broadway Dance Center in NYC, along with teaching a full class load at AMDA. It has been such a joy in meeting so many new dancers, and working with a multitude of levels. As she progresses toward the spring, be on the look out for more drop-in classes and potential sub dates at BDC. She also choreographed an industry showcase for AMDA in collaboration with Igor Goldin.

Tiger will also be judging with IDA this coming season, so be sure to look out for her on your panel!

Spring/Summer 2023: Revolting children by Tiger Brown

Tiger has been insanely busy these past few months teaching at AMDA and working around the country. This June she directed and choreographed the Iowa High School Musical Theater Awards which are one of the largest regional showcases that are a stepping stone to The Jimmy Awards at the Minskoff Theater in NYC. Coming up this July, Tiger heads up north to the Catskills to Forestburgh Playhouse to choreograph one of her favorite pieces - Matilda! This cast is brilliant, and she is ready to rock out and revolt with a stellar team of creatives. Matilda runs July 18-30th as a part of their Mainstage Series.

Winter 22/2023: A Whirlwind! by Tiger Brown

Tiger is thrilled to be returning to Ride the Cyclone as the choreographer and associate director at Arena Stage in Washington, DC this January. Check out the link HERE for tickets, and more information on the project. It’s going to be one hell of a ride! Extended to March 5th!

Fall 2022: Mystic Pizza, and new academic adventures! by Tiger Brown

Fall has been an insanely busy time getting some new things off the ground. Tiger got to work with two of her favorite collaborators Igor Goldin, and Ashley Marinelli as the associate choreographer on Mystic Pizza the Musical. Alongside the creative work, she has been busy teaching on dance faculty at AMDA in NYC. Summer 2022: Iowa, The Jimmy's and Master Classes Galore! by Tiger Brown

Tiger has been wickedly busy collaborating on multiple projects, and teaching around the country in person and via zoom. Most notably, she directed and choreographed the Iowa High School Musical Theater Awards for PBS this past June, hosted by Broadway legend, Lillias White. She worked with over 350 young artists from across the state of Iowa to produce an unbelievable night celebrating these truly brilliant young performers and their work. Two wildly talented individuals were chosen to head to the Jimmy Awards in NYC just a few short weeks after the show. You can check out the broadcast here.

Within just a few short weeks, Tiger has been working along side multiple young artists prepping them for their upcoming school year and auditions for college, as well as preparing for her own upcoming fall/winter projects. Stay tuned for more!

Spring 2022: Ride the Cyclone by Tiger Brown

Time to change hats! Up next, Tiger heads back to her home state to work at the McCarter Theater as the Associate Director and Choreographer of Ride The Cyclone. She is thrilled to be working with such a brilliant team helmed by Sarah Rasmussen. Click here for tickets - we open May 9th!

Winter 2022: I Wanna Rock! Rock of Ages by Tiger Brown

Finally! Two years since she was last on stage, Tiger is so excited to be thrashing around in Rock of Ages at the John W. Engeman theater in Northport, Long Island. She is beyond thrilled to be working along side Natalie Malotke as the associate choreographer and dance captain, under the brilliant direction of Igor Goldin. Back to the Woods and Beyond by Tiger Brown

Tiger has been busy up at French Woods for the past six weeks, directing and choreographing Pippin and Damn Yankees, while also creating two site-specific dance narrative works that will be debuting in the fall of 2021. For the rest of the summer, she is booked with master classes all over the tristate area.
